Chicken Resha Kebab

Cheese Resha Kebab by The Hoggerz

I make them with chicken, and lots of cheese, they are super moist, tender, and flavoursome. This Kebab recipe is great for make-ahead meals. They will last in the fridge for up to 2 days, although they last more than a week – my advice would be to make less and eat fresh rather than freezing food for weeks - not a healthy choice.

Irresistible Chicken Potato Curry – Indian Style

Chicken and Potato in Yummy Sauce by The Hoggerz

Chicken potato curry is a lighter cousin of Chicken korma, a great gateway dish for someone new to chicken curries. It has so much flavor, perfect over steamed rice to absorb all the delicious sauce. This amazing dish will make you look like you really know your way around the kitchen. The comforting gravy really makes the dish! For all of you Chicken lovers out there, this recipe is a keeper. I made a few adjustments to the recipe to suit our palate and make it lighter by cutting down on oil and changes in spices. The results were simply wonderful; a dish I have made a few times since. My tip for doing this is to cook it slow and low.

Eid Special Signature Biryani

Spice Coated Mutton Biryani Recipe by The Hoggerz
Spice Coated Mutton Biryani

Its Eid!! And it has to be mutton biryani and sheer kurrma. Me and Hashim are not sheer kurrma addicts hence the replacement of it is always gulab jamun and chocolate pudding. Rice is that one dish that brightens the level of festivity. And what can be better than a gentle dose of luxurious biryani. I always try to prepare Eid meals with all its statement dishes like biryani, barbecues and of course lots of salads. As we are a family of two, we both have a ball in planning 3 days Eid meals consisting of desi platter, and others days with fast food and italian meals to add zing in Eid celebrations.

Colors of 100+ Recipes and a different version of Boneless Mutton Biryani

Boneless Mutton Biryani recipe by The Hoggerz

A collection of 100 plus recipes surprises me – why? because it wasn’t my game. Those who are linked to me since my life journey are cognizant of the gospel that cooking food was miles away and I never had this avidity for cooking. Fortunately, growing up in a highly-educated family where the pack is filled with engineers, my pre wedded life was centric mainly with academic work. When I look back, instead I had not even picked up the glass of water nor I knew how to make breakfast. I could best do is sit and hog happily, but I never considered myself cooking. Mama and Papa would encourage us to excel in medical or computer field and it was constant throughout my career process until I got married.

Butter Chicken – Mumbai Manner

Butter Loaded Chicken With Cream on Top
Butter Loaded Chicken With Cream on Top

Everyone has their own palate for butter chicken, some plump for sweet, other spicy and remaining its mild flavor. The taste of butter chicken in the outlets of Mumbai leans more towards a bit sweet side. Bademiya, delhi darbar or anywhere in Mumbai butter chicken always leave a classic mark on the taste buds of nonveg hoggerz. My husband dearest personally enjoys hogging this particular because of its authentic and peculiar sauce coated around the crispy fried chicken. He is not a big fan of curries, but this unique dish has always captivated his interest. I believe in treating my husband with the crown, so whenever he is not around I swing to markup my menu with a sapid pattern of recipes so that when he is back home, he finds the dinner table full of goodness. I think the sauce of butter chicken taste closer to paneer masala curry whereas the chunks of chicken taste alike chicken tandoori fried version. This recipe is next to ordering from your favorite restaurant, to make this, I used boneless chicken, simmered with cashews, and ample of dairy products, it just couldn’t be any easier.

The Ultimate Yummy Chicken

Fried Chicken Recipe
Yummy Chicken!!

This dish perfectly fits the title, if you are non veg hogger – this one is highly recommended chicken recipe for you. I am placing the word “highly” in the spotlight because its indeed the yummiest and unique chicken recipe that I accidentally tried and hashim enjoyed every bite of it. The chicken comes out so moist and charmingly moreish, due to the essence of Indian spices and touch of yogurt. The dish is quite simple, which is why it is great for busy kitchen queens. Frying the chicken in a hot oil means you get evenly cooked – juicy chicken and still have crispy top, without putting a lot of effort. Serve it as a starter or make a large portion and serve hot with crispy wheat paratha's or with brown rice, or just have it plain– they are much more exciting than an average chicken recipe. It is surely fulfilling, but not at all satisfying.

Best part? This recipe doesn’t necessitate all-purpose flour usage or anything that is unhealthy to munch, it takes 8 minutes and above all it is finger licking good!
