This is a perfect no-bake dessert for the summer, so easy to whip up and perfect for making ahead if you’re having a date. I make this all the time for my husband as a perfect ending treat to his workout.

There are many variations of this salad, I switch mine by adding lot of fresh fruits and nuts. As I prefer not to use canned fruit in my recipe, simply because of the heavy addition of sugar syrup. Also, nothing can taste as good as fresh fruits. This one is so much healthier than the store bought kind, with much less added sugar. What I love about this recipe is that you can experiment adding as much or as little fruit as you desire. Strawberries or mangoes would be delish. If you want to taste summer, this would be it, a yummy and healthy snack or dessert for all.

If there’s fruit you don’t like, add in more of your favorites, you can also use greek yogurt instead of cream.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Serves: Depends


1 sapodilla, peeled and finely chopped

1 red apple, peeled and finely chopped

1 muskmelon, peeled and finely chopped

1 guava, finely chopped

1 banana, finely chopped

1 kiwi, finely chopped

3 strawberries, finely chopped

2 strawberries, garnish

2 tablespoon walnuts, finely chopped

2 teaspoon almonds, finely chopped

1 tablespoon honey

1 cup fresh cream, increase or decrease as you like

A few pinches of salt

A few pinches of black pepper powder

½ teaspoon chat masala powder, optional


  • In a bowl, whisk fresh cream, throw in a pinch of salt, a few pinches of black pepper powder, ½ teaspoon of chat masala powder and 1 tablespoon of honey and mix well until well combined.
  • Add in all the chopped yummy fruits, chopped nuts and coat it well in the cream mixture.
  • Finish by adding chopped almonds, and sliced strawberries on top or any fruit of your choice. It taste best when served chilled. Enjoy!
